How much does it cost to use the app?

The app itself is free to download and to use. Costs may come in the way of data charges from your wireless provider.
Are there requirements to use the app?

If you already use Sun Financial’s Online Banking, just download the Sun Financial Mobile app from the Google Play Store or the Apple Store and enter your Member Card^® debit card and online banking password to login.

If you haven’t used Sun Financial’s Online Banking yet, contact our Contact Centre . One of our Contact Centre Representatives will be happy to walk you through the few easy steps to get you up and running. You’ll need your Member Card^® debit card.
Is the app compatible with all mobile phones?
Sun Financial Mobile is compatible with:
- Android 5.0 and higher*
- Apple iOS 12.0 and higher
As an information security best practice, Sun Financial strongly recommends that you install reputable anti-malware software for your Android device.
Will Sun Financial Mobile work outside Canada?

Mobile banking for smart phones will work in any country where your mobile carrier’s data plan will work. However, while mobile banking is a free service from Sun Financial Credit Union, your mobile carrier will charge for accessing data while roaming. Please check with your carrier before using mobile banking for smart phones outside of Canada.
Will Sun Financial Mobile still work if I get a new Member Card® debit card?

Yes, Sun Financial Mobile will work if you get a new Member Card^® debit card. However, you will first need to enter the new card number, your password, and answer the security question — replacing the old saved card with your new card.
